The participants of Baku Engineering University attended the Conference within PROMIG Erasmus+ KA2 project

On October 19, 2018, within “Promoting Migration Studies in Higher Education” Erasmus+ KA2 project and on an organizational support of the School of Economics and Management, Center for Development, and Training Center, a one-day conference entitled “Migration and sustainable development” was held at Khazar University. Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of the University, greeted the participants and wished success for the conference. Then Dr.Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, provided information about the achievements within PROMIG project, courses and researches on migration and economics. Nargiz Karimova, an associate of Representative Office of International Migration Organization in Azerbaijan, delivered a presentation about global migration and its statistical results. Conference "From National Independence to Western Partnership: in the Context of Cooperation of Azerbaijan with the Baltic States"

ADA University and Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian embassies operating in Azerbaijan held a one-day conference titled "From National Independence to Western Partnership: in the Context of Cooperation of Azerbaijan with the Baltic States". Representatives of Baku Engineering University were also present at the ADA University conference hall.   The conference was opened with the speech of Fariz Ismayilzade, pro-rector of ADA University. Moreover, the participants of conference were Ambassador of Latvia H.E Juris Maklakovs and Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan H.E. Education and scholarship programs at Estonian Universities

    A seminar on education and scholarship programs at Estonion universities was held  with organization of International Relations Office. Representatives from the University of Tallinn, Tallinn Technological University and Tartu University first gave the information  about the Estonia and its nature, population, economic situation, etc. Then, the cities of Tallinn and Tartu; working in the city and becoming a student; accordingly, the conditions for the students at the Universities, the curricula and post-graduate study, the master's and doctorate education programs, and the summer school.   The event caused a great student attention. The "Day of Information" of the EQAC Project

The next event of the project "Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers at Azerbaijani Universities", which was co-ordinator of Baku Business University, was held at the University Conference Room on October 9-11. Representatives of the Baku University of Engineering, participated in the project, which was held in collaboration with five universities in Europe - Alicante University of Spain, UK Middlesex University, Lithuanian SMK University of Applied Sciences and ECT Accreditation Organization, Sweden Royal Institute of Technology and Royal Institute of Technology. At the event that was organized by the Baku Business University, the Coordinators informed heads of structural departments, deans about the importance and essence of the 3-year project financed by the European Union. Regional presentation of PAWER project

The next regional presentation of the PAWER project at Khazar University took place on October 5. Representatives of Ministry of Education and higher education institutions from Azerbaijan and Georgia participated in the event. In the meetings held in collaboration with the Azerbaijan University of Languages ​​and Nakhchivan University, in the first part of the event; opportunities for student exchange between higher education institutions in two regional states, initiation of the process for ECTS recognition, deep study and application of other exchange stages discussed.
