Representatives of Gulf Arab states universities visited BEU

     A 90-member delegation from the Taif, Jazan, Jeddah, Majmaah, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal, Shaqra, Kuwait, Al Jouf and Prince Sattam Bin Abdul Aziz universities of Gulf Arab states visited BEU under the arrangement of Vice-rectorate for International Relations of BEU. Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov made a speech the official event. The rector gave detailed information on the level of education in our country and the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev to higher education institutions as well as staff training. He talked about the material and technical basis of BEU, the teaching system, student life and international relations. He has pointed out that BEU cooperates with many leading universities around the world. Professor Havar Mammadov noted the possibility of cooperation with the universities of the Arab states.

     Video about BEU was demonstrated and questions of the guests were answered.

    Later, the guests visited the exhibition organized at the university"s foyer. Guests acquainted with modern technology parks, laboratories and dorminoties of BEU. Handmade artifacts related to Azerbaijan art prepared by the students were presented to the visitors at the exhibition.

    Representatives of the Universities thanked BEU administration for their invitation and high organization.
