Baku Engineering University has hosted information day about DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship program for 2023/2024 academic year. The event was organized by representatives of DAAD Tbilisi regional office.
Speaking at the event, BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Manafaddin Namazov noted the conditions created for the expansion of educational opportunities for Azerbaijani youth in prestigious foreign higher education institutions, the importance of mutual student exchange in order to improve the content and quality of education, and the activities carried out by DAAD in this direction.
Expressing his hope that the information provided at the event would be effective and useful in determining the future scientific directions of the students, the Vice-Rector also spoke about various projects implemented by BEU with various scientific and educational institutions in Europe.
Sever Garayeva, coordinator of DAAD Tbilisi Regional Office for Azerbaijan, provided detailed information about the organization she represented. It was stated that the institution was one of the most important organizations in the world that supported the international exchange of students and scientific workers today.
At the meeting, S.Garayeva gave information on the organization and implementation of the application process for DAAD scholarships, the quality of education in Germany, scholarships offered by Germany for Azerbaijan, program conditions, selection rules and other issues, and explained the necessary procedures.
The meeting ended with answering the students' questions.
