From June 10 to July 10, Etibar Kahramanov, an employee of Baku Engineering University, visited Denmark's Aalborg University on the basis of the "Innovative Training Centre to support a postgraduate 3rd cycle Advanced Course to face Environmental Emergency in Azerbaijan (ITACA) project" in which 4 universities of Azerbaijan were represented.
The main purpose of the visit was to prepare teaching materials based on the modules to be taught at the established Training Center and to determine the practical work, as well as to divide the teaching hours. Thus, 10 modules will be taught for selected students at the Training Center.
During the one-month visit, Etibar Kahramanov from Baku Engineering University, Cristiano Varrone and Marco Maschietti from Aalborg University prepared topics, teaching materials and laboratory works included in the Bioprocesses module.
At the same time, in the laboratories of Aalborg University, laboratory work was carried out on the processes of obtaining biological plastic by adding bacteria to the composition of plastic waste, obtaining biofuels (biodiesel, biological jet fuel, etc.) from biomass, growing enzymes and algae.
