Foreign students studying at Baku Engineering University (BEU) at the undergraduate level have participated in the forum organized by the Ministry of Science and Education.
The forum organized with the participation of foreign students studying in our country within the framework of the "Year of Shusha" aimed to discuss the damage caused by Armenian vandalism against cultural monuments and the environment in the territories liberated from occupation, hold discussions on diplomacy, and convey the truths of Karabakh to foreign students.
Foreign students of BEU joined the panel discussions conducted by local and foreign experts on the topics of culture, environment, and diplomacy at the forum.
About 70 foreign students studying in our country at the expense of educational grant programs established by the Decrees of the President Ilham Aliyev, intergovernmental agreements supported by the Republic of Azerbaijan, and their own funds participated in the forum.
Of note, foreign students from 27 countries are continuing their studies at BEU this year, and among the students studying at various levels of education (bachelor, master and doctorate) are the citizens of Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Nigeria, Philippines, Iran, South Korea, It includes citizens of Honduras, Nepal, Morocco, Benin, Bangladesh, Georgia, Russia and other countries.
